Description
Cosroma® HD is 98% Hexamidine Diisethionate, which is a water-soluble cationic substance that can inhibit and kill various Gram-positive and negative bacteria, various molds and yeasts. Hexamidine Diisethionate also has good effect on various microorganisms, especially Pityrosporum ovum, which causes scalp lesions and dandruff. Hexamidine Diisethionate has excellent skin and scalp tolerance and has no irritating effect even on the eyes. Hexamidine Diisethionate is a chemical with excellent anti-dandruff and antipruritic functions used in shampoo products. At the same time, Hexamidine Diisethionate is also a new anti-acne and acne-removing functional component. Use Method:
Due to that it is cationic, Cosroma® HD does not have a good compatibility with anionic ingredients, such as Xanthan gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, etc., but it does not affect the anti-bacterial effect.
Cosroma® HD is not compatible with carbomer when used directly; Pre-mix Cosroma® HD with a small amount of anionic surfactants if carbomer is used to thicken a gel formula(anionic surfactant micelles can prevent the damaging effect of ions on carbomer).
Pre-dissolve Cosroma® HD in surfactant solution, then add it into the formula below 50 ℃ and stir evenly.
Adjust pH of the formula to 3.0-8.0, avoid contact with strong acids, proportion of surfactants shall be well controlled when used with anions.

Storage:
Cosroma® HD shall be stored below 25℃ in well-ventilated and dry condition, keep sealed in original container and away from light.
Shelf Life
Cosroma® HD can be stored for 3 years when the package is unopened and stored in strict accordance with the storage conditions recommended by the manufacturer; please use it as soon as possible once opened.
